This year Janmashtami will be celebrated on 3rd September 2018 Monday,This auspicious day is famous for the birth of lord krishna, All devotees will celebrate the birthday of lord shree krishna by beautiful decoration of all temples and by distributing of Maha Prashad after puja.
Basically the birth place of lord krishna is Mathura but Janmashtami is in whole india.Mathura where lord krishna took birth in the imprisonment of Kansa. His father was Vaasudev and Mother was devki who were put behind the bars in prison by kansa brother of devki.
Lord krisha famous food is white butter with raw sugar.
